It is absolutely stunning. I have more light in my room than ever before and the prismatic effects are awesome. It is on a dimmer switch so I can make it be like candlelight (very romantic) and it still sparkles and glows beautifully. I had an electrician install it and he had no problems at all. My husband thinks he could have done it but we were happy to have a professional put it in for us.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This chandlier is beautiful...a good value for the money. The crystals are plastic, not real crystal, but you'd never know the difference.

This chandelier has worked perfectly for us. The dining room did not have a chandelier when we bought the house and, consequently, we rarely used it. Now, the chandelier makes the room. It is classy but not ostentatious and fits with the style of our house perfectly. With a dimmer we can get light levels from dim to brilliant. Not every house is suited for this chandelier, but we love it in ours.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
