We needed a small chandelier for a table right next to the kitchen. Anything bigger than this would have been off scale. Was rather worried when I unpacked it and realized the 'crystals' are acrylic and the 'gold' is very light and cheap feeling. But the 'crystals' refract the light and give rainbows and acrylic is much less worry in a house of small kids. Installed it pulls off an elegant look without me worrying either about my budget nor about breaking it.

This chandelier was purchased for my mother. We ordered 2 previous lighting fixtures prior from other sites. One came in broken, poor quality. One came in beautiful...but not what she was looking for as it was quite close to the ceiling. She really wanted a hanging chandelier appropriate for her space. When I saw this chandelier I knew she would love it. It has exceeded her expectations! She still phones to tell me how much she loves her new dining room light. She has it on a dimmer and it really is very pretty and perfect size for her small dining room area. Excellent quality and value for the price, with timely delivery and great packaging. We would definitely purchase from this site again and recommend it to friends.

I am very, very pleased with my chandelier, as well as the promptness with which I received it. I had spent weeks shopping in stores and could not find what I wanted. As a last resort I started looking on the internet, and when I got to Lighting Universe, there it was, and it met my specifications (size and cost).
